With strong appetite to travel and explore new places, The 48-Year-Old businessman Parthiban had difficulty to book tickets and hotels through different portals. The desire to establish a single platform for all travellers needs gave birth to MyTicketBuddy. A bus ticket booking portal whose is now preparing to expand their footprints in Hotel Reservation too.
MyTicketBuddy was first launched in 2015 as a rookie in Indian startup ecosystem, Parthiban faced quite a lot of hardships in securing funds. So he decided to fund his brainchild out of his savings and profits from his other businesses. MyTicketBuddy is still on bootstrap and yet to start exploring funding channels. But lack of funding didn’t leash them from integrating over 5000 Bus Operators all over India and sell around 10,000+ tickets in the process.
MyTicketBuddy is built around B2C model were customers will get mostly benefited as they will be presented several options to book tickets rather than single operator. MyTicketBuddy inventory currently handles inventory of popular bus operators like Neeta Travels, K.P.N Travels, Orange Travels and Parveen Travels. It also partnered up with Government RTC’s like UPSRTC and HRTC.
MyTicketBuddy had established its presence in bus ticket booking industry and is now planning to integrate “Hotel Booking” feature too. The “Hotel Booking” feature of MyTicketBuddy is expected to host 30,000+ hotels all over India. MyTicketBuddy hotels will present at prominent cities in India. It is estimated that 10,000+ hotels in 300 cities will be integrated during the first phase which is expected to be launched for beta testing before 1st March, 2018.
